“Both Turkish business work and the global business world expect the same from the B20. There are such significant subjects on the agenda as sustainability, green growth, fight against corruption, governance, innovation as well as liberalization of and removal of barriers to trade. Liberalization and facilitation of trade will contribute to growth and to the creation of new business fields. The important point here, in particular, is the practices to be implemented rather than offering new suggestions. The key factor is the practices of the suggestions offered previously within the B20. There are many suggestions offered for many issues, and subjects which have achieved unanimity such as Bali Agreement. Everyone should do their part in figuring out how to implement these subjects. We should focus on implementation, practice, as Esteemed Minister Ali Babacan has also told.”

Sabancı also emphasized the importance of the technological advance and especially the digital economy in terms of the business world and business manners. Sabancı told that all task force structures under the B20 should also closely follow this issue and support the process, and pointed out the importance of digitalization in terms of the business world and business manners.

Following a question the participants, Sabancı also emphasized the significance of China and stated that the presence of Chine should be strengthened and the Chinese delegates should be given more roles in the B20 meetings.
