“Sponsorship Night for the Picasso Exhibition by Sabancı Holding” within the framework of the support provided for exhibition of 135 works of Picasso, who is one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, in the Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum, was performed with a reception organized last night.
At her speech, Güler Sabancı, Chairwomen of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding, expressed her gratitude for those who supported and worked for the project.
Many notable personalities attended the night, which was organized at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum.
Mr. Muammer Güler, Governor of İstanbul; Mr. Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality; Mr. Erol Sabancı, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akbank, his wife Mrs. Belkıs Sabancı; Picasso’s grandson Bernard Ruiz Picasso and his mother Mrs. Christine Picasso; Mr. Aydın Doğan Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doğan Holding; famous fashion designer Santo Versace, Messrs; Cem and Ümit Boyner and celebrities from business, arts and media world were all present at the night.
The visitors had the chance to watch the exhibition with the assistance of audio guide.
