President Abdullah Gül Participated in “Sakıp Sabancı Art Work” By Giving a Photograph of His

By giving a photograph of his, President Abdullah Gül also participated in the “Sakıp Sabancı” art work created by the artist Kutluğ Ataman upon request of Sakıp Sabancı’s family on the occasion of the 10th year of his death. The art work started to be exhibited on April 29 at SU Sakıp Sabancı Museum and which reflects the dynamism of Sakıp Sabancı was opened for new participations to embrace more people and to achieve continuity. Together with President Abdullah Gül, the art work received hundreds of new photographs within a short time.

The art work consists of the portrait photographs flashing on a giant screen of thousands of people from every walk of life whose paths crossed Sakıp Sabancı’s path over the years. Reflecting Sakıp Sabancı’s addressing to every person from all walks of life with the same sincerity, his approaching every matter with the philosophy of “People first” and his deep love and respect for people, the art work points out the innovative self of Sakıp Sabancı by also implementing the cutting-edge technology.
