Sabancı Holding’s net half-year profit is TL 603 million.


Haci Omer Sabancı Holding has realised a net profit of TL 603 million during the first half of the year 2009.

ad_090828_320x240.jpgThe consolidated financial statements of Sabancı Holding for the half-year period ended 30 June 2009 show sales of TL 10 Thousand 33 Million, and an operating profit of TL 1 Thousand 711 Million, representing an increase of 21% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Total assets of Sabancı Holding amounted to TL 100 Thousand 887 Million on 30 June 2009, and the Shareholders’ Equity to TL 18 Thousand 456 Million.

Sabancı Holding’s CEO Ahmet Dorduncu said in his related statement: “The results we have recorded as the Sabancı Group during the first half of 2009 show that we have been proceeding in our way without deviating from our goals, despite the challenging market conditions.  However, the sustainability of this trend will depend on an increased employment and consumption, hence reflection of the favourable developments observed in the financial sector in the non-financial.”
