Results of Capital Magazine’s "Social Responsibility Leaders Survey", conducted regularly since 2004, were announced. Sabancı Holding was granted as “the champion” in the public eye for the 11th time, while Sabancı Holding Chairman Güler Sabancı was honored "the most responsible leader" for the ninth time.
Sabancı Holding Chairman Güler Sabancı shared her thoughts on the survey results: ”These results show once more that Sabancı is among the top respected and trusted brands. Remained faithful to our founders’ vision, social responsibility is one of our core values. We do not work only for market share, but also to win people’s hearts. Our corporate citizenship approach has become one of the core values of Sabancı culture. The continuity of this approach is only possible with the high sensitivity and sense of responsibility of our employees.
Since its establishment, Sabancı Foundation has touched a million lives. We have built more than 120 institutions, provided over 42.500 scholarship to support the education of young people, given over 1000 awards, and provided more than 11 million TL support for 119 projects within the scope of our grant programs. With our stakeholders both in Turkey and in global platforms like United Nations and European Foundation Center, we aim to support rights of people with disabilities, women, and youth. Moreover our group companies have conducted countless projects to answer the society’ needs.
