Letter From The Chair

Esteemed Shareholders and Investors,

I am very happy to share with you that I have assumed the Chair of Sabancı Holding Board of Directors following the General Assembly held on March 27, 2025.

Long recognised as a pioneer in corporate governance in Türkiye, Sabancı Holding is once again taking a defining step forward in strengthening its institutional structure. Following a meticulously planned succession process, the transition of the Chairmanship has been executed with seamless continuity reflecting the resilience, foresight, and maturity of our governance framework

This moment also marks a historic milestone: for the first time, Sabancı Holding will be chaired by a career executive from outside the founding family. Furthermore, the majority of the newly elected Board members are seasoned professionals—another testament to our commitment to international best practices in governance.

In this, our centennial year, we reflect on a century of adapting to disruption, navigating uncertainty, and building enduring value. Our ability to remain prudent in the face of volatility has been a defining strength, and that mindset continues to guide us. While we remain attentive to near-term dynamics, our long-term strategy is rooted firmly in our belief in Türkiye’s future—a belief we hold with conviction.

As we enter this new chapter, I have the utmost confidence in our management team, led by our CEO Cenk Alper. Their agility, discipline, and unwavering commitment to performance will ensure we deliver on our medium-term goals while staying the course toward our long-term vision.
