Hacı Ömer Sabancı was born in Akçakaya, a small village in the province of Kayseri in Central Anatolia. He lost his father when he was only five and, at the age of fourteen, left his native village to try his fortune in the Adana cotton region, travelling the whole distance of 450 kms on foot.

She, who had contributed a lot to thewell-being and progress of the family, brought up her children in a family atmosphere where charity was regarded as the highest of the virtues The generous assistance given by the late Hacı Ömer Sabancı and his wife Sadıka Sabancı on every possible occasion, and particulary on religious festivals such as Ramadan, combined with the employment of their personal wealth in various social endowments, came to form part of a family tradition.

Özdemir Sabancı was born in May 15, 1941 in Adana.

 After graduating from the Tarsus American College he got his Bsc. in Chemical engineering from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science Technology ( UMIST ) in Manchester, U.K.

He established and developed SASA Synthetic Fibres Inc. which is one of the largest industrial companies of the Sabancı Group.

His visionary leadership was instrumental entering into the automotive sector. During his short span of life, TEMSA started to produce Mitsubishi busses and trucks, Komatsu construction equipment, loaders and forklifts and became the leader in its sector. In 1990 he established the TOYOTASA joint venture, the largest Turkish - Japanese partnership in Turkey ; to produce Toyota cars.

He was the Synthetic Fiber, Automotive and Plastics Group President which included following companies: Sasa, Temsa, Toyotasa, Pilsa, Yazakisa, Sapeksa and Akkardansa.

He serviced as the president of Sabancı Foundation , the biggest family foundation established in Turkey. He was given two honorary doctorates by Çukurova University in Adana and Doğu Akdeniz University in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.Haci Sabancı was also rewarded by Turkish State Distinguished Service Medal by President of Turkey.

Hacı Sabancı was the Vice Chairman of Hacı Sabancı Holding and the Chairman of Akçansa, Bossa, Carrefoursa, Çimsa, Danonesa, Exsa, Marsa KJS, Sapeksa, Universal Trading and Yünsa. He was also Chairman Board of Trustees of Çukurova University and Chairman of Adana Chamber of Commerce.

Sakıp Sabancı was the President of the Board of Sabancı Holding, one of the two largest family-owned industrial holdings in Turkey. 

He was born in the central Anatolian province of Kayseri in 1933, the second of six sons of cotton trader and textile factory owner Hacı Ömer Sabancı. After his father's death, Sakıp Sabancı took over the family business in 1967, assisted by his brothers, and built it into an empire with more than 30,000 employees.

Sabancı, who wrote 14 books, founded the charitable Sabancı Foundation, which runs more than 100 health, education and culture centers throughout Turkey. He contributed millions to education in Turkey and set up a university named after the family. He was a passionate art collector and his collection of paintings, statues and Ottoman calligraphy are exhibited at the longtime family villa overlooking the Bosphorus, which was turned into the Sakip Sabancı Museum in 2002.

Sakıp Sabancı was awarded 12 honorary doctorates. He was decorated with the "Rank of Commodore of the Order of King Leopold II" of Belgium, "The Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Star" award by the Japanese Government and "Legion d'Honneur" by Jacques Chirac, the President of France at the Elysee Palace in Paris in 2001.

Sakıp Sabancı died on 10th of April, 2004. He was happily married, with three children and a grand-daugther.

After graduated from the Tarsus American College, he studied business administration at the US International University Europe - London. For 18 years he worked for Akbank and Hacı Omer Sabancı Holding A.S. at various positions and he left his job at Sabancı Holding at 2001. Mehmet Sabancı established his own automotive company, the F&B Group and was the president of the board. Mehmet Sabancı was married with Zeynep Sabancı and had two sons named Faruk and Burak.

Şevket was educated in textile engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in England. Returned home, he worked at managerial positions in a number of textile companies owned by his family. After 1980, he went abroad to represent Sabancı Holding. Şevket Sabancı was the chairman of Esas Holding, the investment vehicle of his family, which owns the largest low-cost carrier in Turkey Pegasus Airlines.

Şevket Sabancı was also a founding member of the Sabancı Foundation VakSA.

He was married to Hayırlı Zerrin, with whom he has two daughters Emine Kamışlı, Sadıka Sabancı, and a son Ali Sabancı.

He died at the age of 85 on 22 July 2021.
