Sabancı Holding increased its income by 17% in nine months
Sabancı Holding announced its financial results for the first 9 months of 2019. According to these results, the Group increased its incomes by 17 percent in comparison with the same period of the previous year and achieved 45 billion TL consolidated sales.
Mr. Cenk Alper, the CEO of Sabancı Holding made the following statement in his evaluation, “The financial results statement we have announced for the nine months indicates that our operational and financial performance is in line with our plans and expectations.”
LOCOMOTIVE “ENERGY” IN GROWTH
Mr. Cenk Alper also stated, “In the first nine-month period, energy substantially accelerated the growth of our Group. Our strong financial structure and correct management approach in the business line of energy made a positive contribution to our results. We can say that there is still a positive outlook for our company in the insurance industry, with high growth potential in Turkey. We foresee that the increasing profitability and strong position of the business line of insurance in the financial statements will carry on in the upcoming periods, as well as because Aksigorta and AvivaSA can access different customers in different segments thanks to the diversity of the products they offer.”
“WE WILL KEEP FOCUSING ON THE TECHNOLOGY”
Mentioning that all steps are taken by the Sabancı Group are entwined with the future of Turkey, Mr. Alper noted, “As the Sabancı of the New Generation, we are maintaining our activities in digital transformation at an equal rate. The most tangible example of this is our SabancıDx Digital Campus. We will also keep focusing on technology and innovation with SabancıDx Digital Campus, which has been put into operation for the purpose of leading and adding value to the digital transformation of Turkey. We are continuing to achieve our growth target in top level technology with our fourth acquisition in the field of composite materials.”
