Sabancı Holding is selling 41% share of TEMSA İş Makinaları owned by its sub-affiliates to Marubeni
It was resolved to sell a 41% share of Temsa İş Makinaları, which was available in the portfolio of the sub-affiliates of Sabancı Holding, to Marubeni, the other partner of the company. Following the transfer process, the sub-affiliates will continue to have a 10% share in Temsa İş Makinaları.
Mr. Cenk Alper, the CEO of Sabancı Holding, stated in his explanation, “As Sabancı Holding, we resolved to sell our 41% share in Temsa İş Makinaları, owned by our sub-affiliates, to Marubeni in accordance with our strategic goals and dynamic portfolio management. Based on our agreement with our partner Marubeni, our sub-affiliates will continue to have a 10% share in Temsa İş Makinaları. We believe that this agreement is an indication of the faith put in our Group and country by foreign investors. In the light of our vision of “Sabancı of the New Generation”, we will keep growing in the upcoming period by focusing on technology, value added production and innovation.”
