Support from the Sabancı Group to the July 15 Solidarity Campaign
The Sabancı Group granted 10 million TL for the July 15 Solidarity Campaign. 5 million TL of the grant was provided by Akbank.
The aid campaign launched by the Prime Ministry for the families and relatives of the martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives for the sake of democracy in the coup attempt made on 15.07.2016 was also participated in by the Sabancı Group. Accordingly, the Sabancı Group supported the campaign with 10 million TL. 5 million TL of this support was provided by Akbank.
The common statement of Sabancı Holding and Akbank is as follows, “We wish God’s mercy and patience for the relatives of our martyrs who lost their lives while they were eliminating the threat against the future of Turkey, and we wish a quick recovery for our injured citizens. We, in the Group, are proud in our hearts for making a contribution to this support, which is organised for our martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives for the sake of democracy, as well as for their families and relatives and shows the unity, cooperation and solidarity of Turkey.”
