The Sabancı Group supports the Total Struggle with Inflation Programme
With the objective of supporting the struggle against inflation and bringing down the rate of inflation, the Sabancı Group will make required discounts on the prices of products originating from non-regulated industries.
The Sabancı Group made the following statement with respect to the Total Struggle with Inflation Programme, “In order for macro precautions to be successful in an effective struggle with inflation, all economy stakeholders are required to act in cooperation, with a constructive approach and common sense. The environment of trust to be achieved in this way will carry us to success in the long run.
As Sabancı of Turkey, we regard being a part of the solution for the problems encountered by our country, as our responsibility today, just like we have for over 90 years. We will make the required discount in the prices of products originating from non-regulated industries in order to support the struggle against inflation and bringing down the rate of inflation. We hope we will see the positive impacts of this approach in the macro and micro economic indicators in the shortest period of time. We believe wholeheartedly that we will overcome these problems again with unity and a cooperative understanding, just like we have many times in the past.”
The Sabancı Group was represented in the meeting for the Total Struggle with Inflation Programme by Mrs. Suzan Sabancı Dinçer, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akbank, Mr. Cenk Alper, the President of the Industry Group of Sabancı Holding, Mr. Tamer Saka, the President of the Cement Group of Sabancı Holding, Mr. Barış Oran, the CFO of Sabancı Holding and Mr. Hakan Binbaşgil, the General Director of Akbank.
