Sabancı Holding Launches Own “Social Media” for Employees
Sabancı Holding has introduced another innovation in line with its “Sabancı of the New Generation” vision. It launched a digital social network platform called “Sabancı Social”, which is exclusive to members of the Sabancı community, to enable better communication and cooperation among employees.
Thanks to Sabancı Social, which is easily accessed through its mobile and web based applications, the Sabancı community will be able to keep updated on current events at the Sabancı Group and its companies, follow career opportunities in different companies affiliated with the Group more closely, provide support for their colleagues where needed, as well as learn from and socialize with each other through various groups.
Sabancı Holding Human Resources and Sustainability Chief Officer Hakan Timur stated that Sabancı Social was designed in line with the needs of the digitalizing world, adding, “Sabancı Social was designed to reflect our strategic priorities of digitalization, talent management and value creation in the Sabancı ecosystem, established as part of our vision called “Sabancı of the New Generation”, as well as our values of sincerity, continuous development and participation shared by all members of the Sabancı community. Further improving our employees’ capability to communicate and cooperate with each other utilizing technological tools had been at the top of our agenda for some time. We have further understood how important this is due to the increased social distance necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic. In this respect, I have absolute faith that Sabancı Social’s will be an effective digital meeting platform for all of our employees.”
