Sabancı Holding held a celebration on the 96th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic. Sabancı Holding put an emphasis on the importance of unity in the special commercial film prepared for October 2019, with the motto of “All hearts beat alike with the Republic”.
Remarking that the Sabancı Group is almost of the same age as the Republic in her celebration message published for October 29, Republic Day, Ms. Güler Sabancı, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding asserted, “Our core values lie behind the celebrations of October 29th, which were maintained for years under the motto of “Union is Republic”. The Republic is the common ground for details, wealth and for all of us despite all our differences. It is the duty of all of us to sustain, develop and hand it down to the next generations. At Sabancı, we are working with the strength and inspiration provided by Atatürk’s quotation suggesting that, “The Republic has been founded by us. It is up to you to guard and exalt it.” We are endlessly grateful to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic and his fellow fighters as well as everybody who guards and brings it to these days. THEY DESCRIBED 81 CITIES WITH 81 WORDS
In the commercial film prepared by Sabancı Holding for the 96th anniversary of the Republic, striking images addressing the lives and faces of people all across Turkey were presented. Important messages were given in the range of brotherhood from the east to the west, from halay to horon. through the stories covering the very green plateaus of the Black Sea and the lanes of Mardin. The prominent song of the film, in which a group of 12 people travelled all around Anatolia covering about 5,000 kilometres, was performed in a rap style.
81 cities of Turkey were referenced with 81 words in the song of the commercial film with an emphasis on the unifying power of the Republic, and the 96 years of inheritance of the great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The song, specially written by an author team of 3, contained lyrics describing the dynamism of the youth, the future of the country, and the sincerity of Anatolian people. Making a difference with its lyrics, the song was among the videos that have been shared most on social media during recent years.
