Former U.S Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, visited Sakıp Sabancı Museum. In her visit, Albright toured the ongoing exhibition "Legendary Istanbul - From Byzantion to Istanbul: 8000 Years of A Capital" hosted by Chairman of Sakıp Sabancı Museum, Güler Sabancı.

Madeline Albright, the first woman to become a United States Secretary of State and one of the most important political figures of her time, still gives lectures at Georgetown University. Madeleine Albright was the first keynote speaker of ''Sakıp Sabancı Conference Series" held by Sabancı University and Brookings Institution in 2005.

THE INTERNATIONAL GUESTS OF "LEGENDARY ISTANBUL"

The ongoing exhibition at Sakıp Sabancı Museum: "Legendary Istanbul - From Byzantion to Istanbul: 8000 Years of A Capital" has welcomed numerous guests since its opening on June 5. 

These include world famous celebrities such as the famous TV host Martha Stewart, American author Gore Vidal, architect Zaha Hadid, Nobel winning author Sir VS Naipaul, author and movie producer Hanif Kureishi and musician Michael Nyman.
